Haws gate valve stem shield w/ cable lock, 5" l stem, 9105s model 9105s stem shield is a chemically-resistant, waterproof, soft-cell rubber foam enclosed pvc pipe to protect stem threads up to 5" long, for stem and yoke gate valves. Highly visible yellow casing is used to easily detect stem coverings to protect workers from accidentally injuring themselves and potential exposure to infection. Protects stem threading from degradation or damage. Reduces the need for frequent lubrication. Light weight, durable material can withstand damage, extreme temperatures, and various other elements. Equipped with stainless steel cable to lock shield in place without inhibiting operation of valve. Dimensions are 5-1/2" inch internal length, 6-1/4" outer length, 1" inner diameter, 2-1/8" outer diameter.
