This HPS Performance Air Intake Kit with heat shield offers a free-flowing 3.5 in mandrel-bent aluminum tube cold air induction system designed to improve throttle response and produce dyno-proven performance gains of 6.5 horsepower and 6.1 ft-lbs. of torque while maintaining a safe air-fuel ratio. The heavy duty powder coated steel heat shield blocks out heat from the engine to maximize the cooling effect. The kit is a plug-and-play and does not require tuning or trigger the CEL light. No additional modifications are required for the installation. The upgraded intake pipe replaces the stock restrictive intake hose to optimize the air flow and provides lasting durability. This kit features a high-temperature resistant 3-ply reinforced silicone coupler and 100% stainless steel T-bolt clamps that ensure reliability, even through the harshest driving conditions. The included washable and reusable pre-oiled cotton air filter is designed with performance in mind, delivering excellent filtration, as small as 5 microns, while providing greater air flow.
