Description
The E70C-6M Mild Steel Flux Cored Wire is designed for high-performance welding of 490MPa tensile strength steel in demanding fabrication environments. Supplied in a .035'' or .045'' diameter on a 10-pound spool, its available in single or double spool options for convenience. This metal-type flux cored wire is ideal for flat and horizontal position welding on structures like bridges, offshore platforms, ship hulls, machinery, and general fabrications. It delivers excellent penetration, low hydrogen content, and strong resistance to porosity, resulting in clean, reliable welds. With good wetting characteristics and mechanical integrity, it supports both single and multi-pass welding in semi-automatic and automatic processes. The wire operates on DCEP DC+ and is compatible with 100% CO2 or Argon/CO2 gas mixtures.
