Description
The E70C-6M Mild Steel Flux Cored Wire in 1/16'' diameter is built for high-efficiency welding of 490MPa tensile strength steel across industrial applications. Supplied on a 33-pound spool, this metal-type flux cored wire is ideal for flat and horizontal position welding. It is widely used in shipbuilding, bridge construction, offshore structures, heavy machinery, and general fabrication. The wire ensures deep penetration, smooth bead appearance, and low spatter with excellent resistance to porosity. It supports both single and multi-pass welding in semi-automatic or automatic operations. Operating on DCEP DC+ with 100% CO2 or mixed Argon/CO2 shielding gas, it meets AWS A5.18-07: E70C-6M standards for mechanical strength and weld quality.
