ER80S-D2 Mild Steel TIG Welding Rods are ideal for welding carbon and low alloy steels, including AISI 4130, where higher tensile strength is required. These 36in rods are engineered for applications where plain carbon steel rods fall short, especially in high-sulfur or free-machining steels. With added manganese and silicon, they provide high ductility and excellent mechanical properties. The resulting welds exhibit superior impact resistance and tensile strength, making them suitable for demanding structural tasks. Recommended for use with DCEN (DC-) polarity, they ensure consistent and reliable arc performance. Available in multiple diameters and package sizes to meet a variety of project requirements.
