Description
The ERCuSi-A Silicon Bronze Copper MIG Welding Wire 10-pound roll is designed for welding a variety of non-ferrous metals, including silicon bronzes, brasses, and galvanized steels. This wire is widely used in applications where corrosion resistance is required, such as marine components, sculptures, and architectural features. With a high silicon content, it offers improved wetting characteristics and helps produce smooth, consistent welds. To minimize cracking, it's recommended to maintain a small weld puddle for quicker solidification. This wire delivers a tensile strength of 345 MPa and an elongation of 30%, providing strength with flexibility. Compatible with 100% Argon shielding gas and DC+ polarity, it supports precise and clean MIG welding performance.
