Description
The INTERSTATE PNEUMATICS - CA440Z-25K is an automotive coupler for tool-free installation using the ball-lock quick-connect mechanism between air or fluid hoses and mating plugs or nipples. It features a ball-lock mechanism that provides a seal when connected to compatible mating plugs/nipples (verify compatibility with specified connection sizes/types) and is compatible with air and fluid systems using a 1/4" FNPT female coupler connection and the True-Flate Automotive interchange standard. The coupler is constructed from steel with stainless steel bearings and includes a stainless steel spring as part of the internal ball-lock mechanism, made with steel body and stainless steel bearing components and Buna-N seal suitable for oil/corrosion exposure in automotive applications (within the stated operating temperature range). Its nominal connection size is 1/4" with a 1/4" FNPT threaded female connection, compatible with the True-Flate Automotive interchange standard.
