Provides a tool-free quick-connect coupling when used with a compatible mating plug/nipple using a ball-lock quick-connect mechanism that forms a seal when connected to a compatible mating plug/nipple (seal integrity depends on correct installation, alignment, and operating conditions). Constructed with a steel body and stainless steel bearing components and a Buna-N (Nitrile) seal for sealing applications when used within the specified temperature range and with compatible fluids, this coupler is compatible with pneumatic tools, air compressors, and fluid lines that meet the specified operating conditions and fluid compatibility requirements for automotive and general service where the specified pressures, temperatures, and fluid compatibility are met. The product features a 1/4" body size and 1/4" FNPT thread size, compatible with mating components that conform to the True-Flate Automotive interchange standard.
