Description
The INTERSTATE PNEUMATICS - CA440Z is an automotive coupler designed as a quick-connect hose fitting with a 1/4" body size. It provides a tool-free connection between air or fluid hoses and mating plugs, utilizing a True-Flate automotive ball-lock mechanism to form a sealed connection when mated with compatible plugs/fittings. Constructed primarily from steel with stainless steel bearing components; a stainless steel spring is included as part of the internal mechanism. It is rated for operation in automotive pneumatic/fluid pressure applications; follow the pressure rating of the specified mating system/hose assembly. The coupler features a 1/4" FNPT (Female National Pipe Thread) connection and employs Buna-N (Nitrile) seals to provide fluid-tight sealing within the specified operating temperature range.
