Description
The INTERSTATE PNEUMATICS - CA465B is an automotive coupler designed as a quick-connect hose fitting that allows connection without requiring tools when used with compatible mating plugs or nipples. It features a 1/4" quick connect body size and a 3/8" barb size for hose fitting. The coupler employs a sliding-sleeve or ball-lock mechanism to create a seal designed to form a seal under rated pressure and temperature conditions and is constructed primarily from brass with stainless steel bearing components. It is compatible with the True-Flate Automotive interchange type and is rated for operation within a temperature range of -40°F to 212°F. The coupler is constructed with a Buna-N (Nitrile) seal, which is specified for contact with oils and automotive fluids.
