The Ironwear 1277 safety vest is designed for those who refuse to be stopped by low-light conditions or fire hazards. Featuring 2 in silver reflective tape over 2.5 in contrasting fabric around the torso and over the shoulders, this Type R vest meets ANSI/ISEA 107 Class 2 standards for high visibility. The polyester fabric and mesh back are not only comfortable, but also treated with flame-retardant properties tested under D6413 methods to self-extinguish when ignited. Additionally, the 2 radio clip holders and 13 total pockets (including 4 pen pockets, a tablet pocket, slotted chest pockets, 2 inner chest pockets and 4 waist pockets with hook and loop flaps) allow for smart access to a wide variety of tools and accessories. This safety vest is ideal for electricians, utility workers, chemical plant workers, miners and oil technicians, as well as any work involving fire hazards. It is also appropriate for recreational activities performed in low-visibility environments with moderate traffic – from jogging and cycling to fishing and hunting. To clean, simply handwash in warm water and mild detergent, then leave to air dry. For heavy soiling, gently spot clean with a mild soap. Do NOT machine dry. Do NOT use sanitizers or aggressive cleaning solutions such as bleach or acetone. Employing cleaning methods other than those outlined above may shrink the vest, ruin the reflective tape or dim the coloring below safe standards.
