It can be used to locate ductile iron, plastic, tile or concrete pipe and can do so without digging. This traceable rodder locates underground pipe without the need for digging up roads and landscapes. The 1/4” marked rod is marked in 5 foot increments, making it easy to measure depth while tracking down the location of buried pipes. A bend radius of 4” makes it safe to use on small diameter conduit such as that found in residential homes and commercial buildings.
