Rainbow Phonics Decodable Word Cards

Decodable Words by Rainbow Phonics make word building easy, with sound buttons and phoneme frames to support decoding and encoding. The Rainbow Phonics Decodable Word pack contains 160 cards for teaching decoding and spelling words across the Rainbow Phonics progression. Each card is double-sided. On the front side is the decodable word, including a visual image and sound buttons beneath the word. The sound buttons are color-coded with short vowels in red and consonants in blue. There are also lines or dashes to represent digraphs and these are also color-coded according to their consonant or vowel pattern. On the reverse are phoneme frames, where phonemes are grouped into boxes and color-coded accordingly. This side has a write and wipe surface, so children can practice spelling the word or identifying a phoneme sound within the word. The outside borders are color-coded in accordance with the phases of Rainbow Phonics. Cards also integrate with the lessons in the Teacher Planners at the different grade levels.
