The 398 measures temperature between -58 degrees Farenheit to 1,202 degrees Farenheit / -50 degrees Celsius to 650 degrees Celsius with a 12:1 distance to spot size ratio. Emissivity is adjustable from 0.01 1.0. The Kapro 398 has a memory recall of up to 20 readings, and an array of modes including: Adjustable high/low set points with audible alarms, lock function for continuous measuring, and Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion.
