A linear sleeve bearing is a type of linear bearing that uses a cylindrical sleeve to support a rotating shaft. The sleeve is typically made of a low-friction material, such as bronze or Teflon, and is designed to minimize friction between the shaft and the bearing housing.

Linear sleeve bearings offer a number of advantages, including their compact size, simple design, and high load capacity. They are also relatively easy to maintain and can be used in a wide variety of applications.

Linear sleeve bearings also have some disadvantages, including their limited speed capability and their susceptibility to wear. They are also not as precise as some other types of linear bearings.

Linear sleeve bearings are used in a wide variety of applications, including conveyors, packaging machinery, and machine tools. They are also used in linear actuators and other precision motion control systems.
