The shelf is made of 100% steel, designed to last for years and be resilient to high traffic shopping and heavy loads. This item’s depth is 13 inches. DGS Retail offers this shelf in a variety of depths, including 16in, 19in and 22in. This item can be used in conjunction with store island and aisle shelving units, especially our 48in wide starter and add-on units. Black Metal Gondola Shelf Adds Style To Your Store Design The metal gondola shelf has a black polyester finish baked on the all-steel construction. The finish is resistant against chipping and fading, making it a resilient and long-lasting addition to the store. Lozier Gondola Shelf Specs With Lozier shelves, you have a lot of ways to make your aisles flexible and interesting. This item has two positions: Flat and 17-degree downward slope. These shelves have a built-in price tag molding on the front edge where you can place price tags and or labels that are 1-1/4in high. Plastic shelf edge data or info strips can also be snapped into this molding. The top of the shelf has a series of hole perforations that run parallel to the front and back edges. These can be used to place shelf dividers and shelf edge fences. The shelves themselves can hold up to 500 lbs. in the flat position, 250 lbs. in the downslope. To give you a sense of space, this shelf can display up to 64 standard bottles of wine. Shelving Catalog Details The metal shelf is installed to the store fixture per the gondola assembly instructions that DGS Retail ships with each order. The shelf features a pattern of holes on the front and back of the top surface. These are used to install either wire dividers, wire dump bins, shelf edge sign holder clips or other shelving accessories we offer.
