The MalcoEdge HHK2 Turboflow Vacuum Kit - Dual is built for maximum evacuation performance on larger residential and light commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Designed for Trade Pros who need faster draw-down and efficient system setup, this kit expands on standard evacuation configurations by enabling high-flow access from both the high and low sides simultaneously. At the core of the system are two TurboFlow refrigerant hoses, each featuring a 3/8 in. inner diameter to maximize flow and reduce evacuation time. At 60 inches in length, the hoses provide flexibility on the job while maintaining manageable handling. Built to SAE J2196 standards, each hose delivers durability in demanding conditions with an 800 psi working pressure and 4000 psi burst rating. Integrated 3/8 in. x 1/4 in. SAE fittings ensure compatibility with standard service ports and manifold connections. The included high-flow Y branch (3/8 in. x 3/8 in. x 3/8 in.) allows technicians to connect both hoses in parallel to the vacuum pump, increasing available flow and improving evacuation efficiency. Its Y-shaped design creates a smoother flow path compared to traditional T-style fittings, supporting faster system evacuation. For system access and control, the kit includes both a High-Flow Core Removal Tool with Sight Glass (CRT27Y) and a Compact Core Removal Tool (CRT1). The CRT2Y features a Y-style design for improved flow, an integrated sight glass for verifying refrigerant condition and core capture, and dual valves for isolating and protecting connected vacuum gauges. The CRT1 provides a more compact solution for tighter access points, with a single valve design and the same 20-micron vacuum rating, allowing it to be used in parallel setups where additional valve control is not required. Both tools support 1/4 in. and 5/16 in. systems with included adapters, offering flexibility across common HVAC applications. Durable construction in both the CRTY27Y and CRT1 includes anodized aluminum bodies with brass valves and fittings for long-term reliability and a magnetic end knob for convenient storage of the core removal rod after removal from the tool body.
