The ME1690 Pol adapters 1/4 in. male pipe fitting fits the inlet of all standard low pressure regulators. The Pol nut features a left hand thread and fits all standard LP gas cylinder valves. The excess flow Pol is different than standard POL fittings because it has a check valve inside. If gas surges through the fitting, the check valve will check. It does not shut off the gas but it does restrict the gas flow.
