Industrial-grade M35 High Speed Steel with 5% Cobalt content makes the bits heat and abrasion resistant and keeps the cutting edges sharper longer. Set includes 17-jobber length drill bits, ranging in size from 1/16 in. - 3/8 in. inclusive (in 1/16 in. increments). Bits are fully ground with a tapered-web flute for added strength and durability. 135° split-point tips start drilling on contact with less force and eliminate "walking" or skating across the work surface. Drills feature a 3-flat shank, ensuring a secure grip in the drills chuck. Sizes 1/8 in. and larger feature 3-flat shanks for a secure grip in the drill chuck. Patented, heavy-duty MBX case has molded rubber corners for hard impact protection.
