Description
If you've got a sports bar or restaurant and you want to show different programs on different TVs; or if you've got a house full of kids and family; each of whom wants to watch their own shows; you need an HDMI® Matrix! This 4x4 Matrix HDMI Switch & Splitter is the perfect way to get ultimate flexibility out of your entertainment system. You can plug up to four different HDMI sources (e.g.; Blu-ray DiscTM player; DVR; Xbox 360®; PS3®; etc.) into the Matrix and up to four output displays. The Matrix will let you independently switch between the four inputs for each display. Each display can simultaneously use the same signal or any combination of different signals.Unlike most Matrix Switch/Splitters; this model also includes the capability of extending either or both outputs over a pair of Cat5e/Cat6 cables up to 40 meters (131 feet) away! This lets you deliver full 1080p signals further than you could with HDMI cable alone (about 25 feet) and saves you money by using cheaper Cat5e/Cat6 cable for the longer distance delivery. The kit comes with five remote controls; including a main remote for controlling the Matrix directly; and four smaller remotes for controlling it from the rooms where the Cat5e/Cat6 receivers are located. Additionally; it comes with infrared repeaters; allowing you to control your source devices from the remote location(s). As a bonus; the receivers and/or matrix unit can be controlled with a computer using the RS-232 interface. In addition to the matrix's own remote controls; each receiver unit can receive the remote control signals from the remotes for your various source devices (Blu-ray Disc player; cable box; etc.). These IR signals are then transmitted back down the Cat5e/Cat6 cables to the main Matrix unit; which then distributes the IR signal to an IR emitter that corresponds to the source device feeding the signal to that receiver. This allows you to use identical source devices with identical remote control codes; yet still independently control each from the remote location; providing the emitters and devices are not positioned so that one can "see" the IR signal intended for the other.Features:View any of up to 4 sources on any of up to 4 displaysSupports High Speed 1080p videoSupports 3DSupports HDCPTMConnect either or both displays directly; using HDMI cable; or up to 40 meters (131 feet) distant; using Cat5e/Cat6 cable and included receiversSupports 225 MHz/2.25 Gbps per channel (6.75 Gbps all channel) bandwidthSupports 12-bit per channel (36-bit all channel) deep colorSupports uncompressed audio such as LPCMSupports compressed audio such as DTS® Digital; Dolby® Digital; DTS-HD Master AudioTM; and Dolby TrueHDTMIncludes five remote controls to select input devices for each output (one main remote for both outputs and four individual remotes for each output)Select inputs using included remote controls; with switch on front of matrix; with switch on front of receivers; or with a computer using RS-232 inputIncludes i
