The only parts recommended by Ford Motor Company for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles.The Motorcraft Speed Sensor Assembly is the transmission-mounted induction coil that creates an electrical signal as the teeth of an internal rotating transmission ring/gear spin past it.The sensor's signal generated communicates the vehicle's speed to the electronic engine control (EEC) module as well as to the instrument panel speedometer gauge.
