Motorized dampers regulate or shut off the flow of air inside of the HVAC system in response to signals from a controller. They are slightly different from manual dampers, which always stay in place unless someone manually adjusts them.

Motorized dampers provide more precise control of the airflow, enhancing system efficiency and temperature uniformity throughout the building space.

Motorized Dampers serve various purposes, including demand-controlled ventilation, zone temperature control, and smoke control for safety reasons.

Selecting the appropriate Motorized Damper necessitates considering the required airflow range, duct size, pressure drop, and intended application.
