Description
Transfer gear oils effortlessly in and out of gearboxes, transfer cases, and differentials using this suction gun with flexible vinyl hose. Viking suction gun has a capacity of 16 Oz (500 ml) and is for automotive workshops, garages, and industrial applications involving the transfer of non-corrosive liquids and gear oils. Know more about this fluid suction pump below: Size & Capacity: This suction gun is 14in long and 2 1/4in wide. It holds up to 16 Oz or 473.176 cc or 500 cc (approx) of fluid at a time, which is suitable for small to medium oil transfer applications. Durable Construction: This suction gun is made with a steel barrel and has a plated steel head to ensure the strength and durability needed for repeated use. The deluxe lip seal, made of nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), helps to create an airtight seal inside the barrel to maximize suction efficiency. The 12in vinyl hose allows the hose to bend and reach tight and hard-to-reach spaces, making fluid transfer precise and mess-free. Compatibility & Functionality: The engine oil suction pump is compatible with non-corrosive fluids, primarily gear oils, lubricants, and engine oils. It is especially useful in gearboxes, differentials, and transfer cases, where draining or filling oil is difficult due to the lack of openings. It eliminates the need to pour fluids directly from containers, reducing mess and waste. How to Use this Suction Gun At first, insert the vinyl suction hose into the fluid you wish to transfer, generally gear oil in a container or oil in the gearbox. Now pull the handle backward to create suction and draw the fluid into the suction gun's barrel. Place the hose into the reservoir or component where you want to dispense the collected fluid. Now, release the fluid by pushing the handle forward to expel the fluid through the hose. Continue the process until you have collected the desired amount of liquid. Maintenance Tips Always flush out any leftover oil from the barrel and hose. This eliminates clogging or buildup between different fluids. Regularly check the lip seal for cracks, wear, or stiffness. A damaged seal reduces suction efficiency. Store the suction gun in a clean, dry environment to prevent the steel barrel and head from rusting. Only use non-corrosive oils and lubricants. Avoid strong solvents, fuels, or corrosive chemicals, which may damage the NBR seal or PVC hose.
