The hook can choke the load without disconnecting the sling from the hoist hook. It means our sliding choker (constructed from alloy steel) hook wraps around the load for secure lifting. It is compatible with 3/8in-1/2in wire ropes and has a load capacity of 1.6 tons. It's made of strong metal and red powder-coated for protection against corrosion, scratches, dents, and more. Eye Fittings: The single-leg sliding choker wire rope sling (6 x 19 IWS) includes two loop terminations designed to maximize strength and load capacity. One end features a mechanical splice standard Flemish eye loop, whereas the other has a thimble eye. Both are secured with aluminum sleeves (swaged fittings) to ensure permanent and stable terminations at critical splice points. Thus, extending the lifespan of the sling. Sling Construction Details: Our 3/8in diameter and 8ft long wire rope sling is made of steel. It has high tensile strength, ensuring an uninterrupted lifting capacity. It can withstand the assembly working load limit of 1.4 tons and the breaking strength of 7 tons. It provides strength and safety for demanding jobs. Note: Do not exceed the working load limit.
