This material protects the tank against engine heat and harsh chemicals. The bracket of the tank is iron-made and has a black electrophoretic-coated surface finish. The strong material enables it to hold the tank securely in place near the engine. Functionality: The main function of this power steering reservoir is to store power steering fluid that the steering pump circulates through the system, which allows the steering wheel to move freely. It has a diameter of 5 1/4in and ensures the pump always has a constant and sufficient fluid. Mounting Bracket: The pre-assembled mounting bracket secures the power steering reservoir firmly near the engine in proper orientation. It ensures that only fluid circulation in the tank for smoother steering and longer product life. Feed Port: The bottom vertical port of the tank is its feed/suction port with an inside and outside diameter of 3/4in and 7/8in, respectively. Return Port: The port at the side (45-degree-angled port) is the tank's return port with an inside and outside diameter of 1in and 1 1/8in, respectively.
