Notch Marvin fiberglass base poles are lightweight and extremely durable. The wall thickness is 25% greater than the average pole to ensure a rigid feel and exceptional strength. Bright yellow coloring makes them easy to spot. Marvin poles feature aircraft grade aluminum extension couplings. The coupling is locked by a spring clip that is easily controlled with thumb and forefinger. 1 1/4 in. hollow core round base pole. Can be used alone or at the bottom of a multiple pole set up. It features a female ferrule to allow the user to quickly connect additional poles or pruning attachments. The bottom of the pole features a sturdy rubber cap to keep out dirt and debris. Batch tested to 100kV per foot for 5 minutes. Flexural strength (per ASTMD7264) ≥ 380 Kgf. Compression Strength ≥ 250Kgf. Barcol Hardness(per ASTMD2583) ≥ 45B.
