The leak proof construction and unrestricted passages permit fast and accurate liquid level response. This brass gauge is installed vertically. It features a 5/8 diameter glass sight protected by a shield. The shield can be revolved to the most convenient position for viewing or taken off completely for cleaning. A cap with a 1/4 female NPT connection to vent the gauge back into the reservoir. The gauge uses only atmospheric pressure. A Teflon washer reduces friction between the cap and the glass during installation and adjustments. Buna-N seals are used. The unit tolerates temperatures up to 225° F.
