They are used on bearings, gear boxes, reservoirs, and any application where pressure or vacuum relief is necessary. They can also be used as filler plugs .This vent plug features a splash deflector to prevent liquid from spilling into the vent hole and outside. No screens or filters are used in order to allow air to communicate freely with the outside. The body of the vent plug is plated steel and has a 1/8in. male NPT. The unit has a 7/16in. hex and is 15/16in. in height .
