Item # A3432-3, Vent Plug with Filter, 3/8 Male NPTVent Plugs with Filters can be used to relieve pressure or vacuum on bearing housings, gear boxes, reservoirs, or any application where venting is necessary. These vent plugs assure pressure equalization and minimize undesirable problems, such as bearing seal blowout due to excessive pressure .The body of the vent plug is plated steel and has a 3/8 Male NPT. The vent allows air to communicate freely through a 40 micron cellulose filter .The unit withstands temperatures up to 225° F. It is 1 1/16 in height and has a 3/4 hex .To remove the filter, simply unscrew the hex cap on top. A cost-effective replacement filter is readily available part no. B751-16 .
