UHMW is impact and wear resistant.UHMW can sag under its own weight if unsupported, requiring backing for structural rigidity in many applications. Its high molecular weight provides exceptional durability and low friction, but its inherent softness means it deforms (creeps) under sustained stressDiameters are produced oversized to finish to listed size.
