Description
Hexagon bar is a hexagonal (six-sided) cross section, size (Diameter) is specified by the distance across the flats. 2024 is an aluminum alloy with good machinability and capable of providing a very good machined surface finish. It is a high strength aluminum alloy with adequate workability. It displays excellent strength, as much as 50% more than that of mild steel. It is commonly used in aircraft and high strength to weight applications.
