Description
Plate Flat Bar is sheared and processed from stainless plate. The edges are then "treated" (milled). Though it is flattened and straightened as part of the process, sheared and edged bar is not as dimensional “true” as true flat bar. 316 Stainless Steel offers better corrosion and pitting resistance as well as higher strength at elevated temperatures than the 304 alloy. Corrosion resistance to seawater, atmospheric conditions, chemicals, acids and foods. Chrome-Nickel, Austenitic (Non-Magnetic).
