Otterbein Injection Grout/Mortar 5 Special lime mortar based on natural hydraulic lime for filling cavities, filling cracks and joints with a caulking gun or injection pump and for strengthening natural stone and clinker masonry indoors and outdoors, especially for objects relevant to monument preservation. HISTOCAL injection mortar - M5 - consists of natural hydraulic lime (NHL) according to EN 459-1, pozzolan, grain graded crushed lime sand and additives and is a purely lime-bound, cement-free product. HISTOCAL injection mortar - M 5 - is suitable for filling cracks and cavities , particularly in historical buildings and when renovating masonry. It impresses with its soft, plastic consistency , is pumpable and pressure-resistant . Properties: Free of cement Soft, plastic consistency Lime-bound Suitable for pumping Pressure-stable Application: HISTOCAL Injection mortar - M5 is suitable for the filling of cracks and hollow spaces, in particular at historic monuments and for masonry renovation. Substrate: The substrate must be clean and free from loosely attached particles. A sufficient preliminary wetting is compulsory. Special notes: Protect fresh mortar against fast drying-up. The air and surface temperature must be at least 5 Deg C and maximum 25 Deg C. HISTOCAL Injection mortar - M5 shall only be used in the original state without additives. Storage Dry, if possible on wooden shelves and protected against draft.
