These multi-point mortise locks are constructed of steel and come in a corrosion-resistant, zinc-plated finish. They are used on sliding patio door systems that are constructed of either wood or vinyl, and they are easy to install. These types of patio sliding door locks require a mortise pocket in the edge of the door panel. The dual hook latches provide double the locking power and security of standard single hook latch mechanisms that most patio slider doors are equipped with. This model features a 45-degree keyway when hooks are fully extended (in the locked position), and the hooks projection can be adjusted for best engagement with keeper.
