Our 1997 series features the standard, 3-prong, Japanese Plug (JIS 8303) with an ROJ. These Japanese power cords are ideal for powering your custom equipment. This power cord will plug into the standard Japanese wall outlet on one end and will hard-wire into your equipment on the other end. An ROJ, or Removed Outer Jacket, is the result of stripping the exterior jacket from the power cord and exposing the conductors for the purpose of hard-wiring the cord into your equipment. Our standard ROJ includes the removal of 2 inches (51mm) of jacket and of 1/4 inch (6mm) of conductor insulation. The 1997.098 is a Japanese power cord that carries the PSE approval and is rated at 15A - 125V. This Japanese power cord can also be used in Colombia.
