This synthetic rubber is made of a combination of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and styrene butadiene rubber to inherit the strengths of both materials. The addition of rubber SBR gives this rubber sheeting a high level of physical durability and endurance for use in demanding applications. This EPDM synthetic rubber has a 60A durometer, meaning that it is fairly hard, but still retains reasonable flex and pliability. This sleek, black rubber sheeting is the perfect material to be used for commercial and industrial pads and bumpers, among many other possible applications. This 1/4-inch rubber sheet is one of the thicker options available and works well in highly abrasive physical applications.
