Description
This Ruland double friction bearing universal joint has 0.3750" x 0.3750" bores, a 0.995" outer diameter, and a 4.875" length. It is ideal for applications with wide distances between shafts and can accommodate all forms of misalignment. This double universal joint is made of two blocks, four pins, one center spacer, and two yokes. These components are manufactured to tight tolerances using proprietary processes that ensure smooth operation and high misalignment accommodation up to 90°, which is a significant improvement over commodity style double universal joints. It is made from high grade alloy steel for high torque capabilities. The user can add boots to protect the joints from unwanted contaminants and increase service life. This double friction bearing universal joint is manufactured in the USA by Belden Universal and rebored by Ruland for the shortest lead time in the industry.
