Description
Ruland shims are a pack of aluminum shims designed to during assembly of Ruland manufactured zero-backlash jaw and oldham couplings. They come with 32 layers that can be peeled off with a knife or other sharp object and are made from 5052 aluminum for corrosion resistance, rigidity, and durability. Shims maintain the correct spacing between the hubs and insert of the coupling allowing it to reach its full misalignment capabilities. The shim slides in between the hub and insert while the user is assembling the coupling and is removed once assembly is finished. This shim is designed to fit zero-backlash jaw and oldham couplings with an identifier of 36/57 and manufactured by Georg Martin GmbH in Germany.. All shims are RoHS and REACH compliant.
