Description
This Ruland single friction bearing universal joint has 1.1250" x 20mm bores, a 1.995" (50.7mm) outer diameter, and a 5.500" (139.7mm) length. It is best suited for applications requiring a short length and high torque (when compared to double universal joints of an equivalent OD). This single universal joint is made of a block, two pins, and two yokes. These components are manufactured to tight tolerances using proprietary processes that ensure smooth operation and high misalignment accommodation up to 45°, which is a significant improvement over commodity style single universal joints. It is made from high grade alloy steel for high torque capabilities. The user can add a boot to protect the joint from unwanted contaminants and increase service life. This single friction bearing universal joint is manufactured in the USA.
