Description
This Ruland single friction bearing universal joint with set screws and keyways has 10mm x 0.3750" bores, a 0.995" (25.3mm) outer diameter, and a 3.380" (85.9mm) length. It is best suited for applications requiring a short length and high torque (when compared to double universal joints of an equivalent OD). This single universal joint is made of a block, two pins, and two yokes. These components are manufactured to tight tolerances using proprietary processes that ensure smooth operation and high misalignment accommodation up to 45°, which is a significant improvement over commodity style single universal joints. It is made from high grade alloy steel for high torque capabilities. The user can add a boot to protect the joint from unwanted contaminants and increase service life. This single universal joint is manufactured in the USA.
