Description
This Ruland single friction bearing universal joint has 22mm x 0.7500" bores, a 1.745" (44.3mm) outer diameter, and a 5.000" (127.0mm) length. It is best suited for applications requiring a short length and high torque (when compared to double universal joints of an equivalent OD). This single universal joint is made of a block, two pins, and two yokes. These components are manufactured to tight tolerances using proprietary processes that ensure smooth operation and high misalignment accommodation up to 45°, which is a significant improvement over commodity style single universal joints. It is made from stainless steel for corrosion resistance. The user can add a boot to protect the joint from unwanted contaminants and increase service life. This single friction bearing universal joint is manufactured in the USA.
