Description
This Ruland supplied slit coupling is zero-backlash and has a balanced design for reduced vibration at high speeds up to 12,000 RPM. The coupling is made from a single piece of aluminum and has two sets of slit cuts allowing for low inertia, no maintenance, and high torsional stiffness when compared to beam couplings. It is clamp style and has 5mm x 4mm bores, 13.0mm OD, and 16.80mm length. This short style slit coupling can fit in confined spaces where the long style may not fit. It can accommodate all forms of misalignment with low bearing loads helping to protect small sensitive bearings. This slit coupling is manufactured by Reliance Precision Ltd. in their facility in County Cork, Ireland and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
