You’d be hard pressed to find a road construction crew without a scarifier—or a few. Scarification is a tried and true process whereby a surface—very commonly a road or patch of ground—is scratched, cut, penetrated or broken up. That’s when a scarifier is put to work, using different types of abrasive and cutting edges or spikes to break the surface up. In addition to road and concrete scarifiers, you can also find lawn and garden scarifiers, as well as floor and hand scarifiers. Once you’ve got your scarifier, you might also be interested in our selection of masonry saws, used to cut hard materials like stone, granite, ceramic and concrete.
