Description
8 Plait nylon is the ideal choice for anchor rode. Compared to traditional 3 strand nylon; the tensile strength is similar; but the multi-strand woven lay allows the rope to lay more compactly in the anchor locker. As a result; you have more rode available if needed. Our nylon rope and G4 high-test galvanized chain is hand spliced to operate smoothly in a windlass. In addition; the 8 plait design absorbs higher shock loads better when compared to 3 strand. Includes bucket and 5/16" shackle.
