W-300DAT(S) is a table-top direct heat sealer equipped with an electronic timer to control the sealing time. Once the correct setting has been established, consistent seals will be maintained automatically. This 12" sealer comes in ivory with a 15mm wide meshed or serrated jaws and a foot switch for a semi-automatic setting. The hot sealing bars are enclosed with a heat resistant plastic bar for safer operation.
Direct heat sealers seal all types of thermoplastic packaging material, but are especially ideal for thicker material such as coated aluminum foil, Kraft paper, cellophane, mylar, coated PP. Please note direct heat sealer cannot seal polyethylene materials. Depending on the model of the sealer, material up to 12" wide and 20 mil thick can be sealed. The meshed or serrated seal width is 15mm. Equipped with a German manufactured temperature controller that accurately controls the temperature from 30°-550° F (0°-300° C). Both jaws are heated simultaneously resulting in better heat penetration to seal thicker material. Includes adjustable work table.
