Description
The 1/4 inch SharkBite x 3/8 inch compression connector allows you to transition from compression to Push-to-Connect. This connector has 2 primary uses. It can be used to thread onto an existing stop valve and convert a compression connection to a push-to-connect connection that will work with 1/4 inch pipe and SharkBite Fittings and it can be used to connect to faucets that require a 3/8 inch compression connection. SharkBite fittings are the easiest way to join any combination of pipe with no soldering, clamps, unions or glue. Just insert the pipe and the stainless steel teeth bite down and grip tight, while a specially formulated O-ring compresses to create a perfect seal. Disassembly is just as fast using the simple disconnect tool so fittings and valves can be easily changed and reused.
