The Snugpak Scorpion 3 is a 3 person tent designed for expeditions or base camp use. The Scorpion 3 is a fly-first pitch tent that allows for easy set up using an opposing pole design. The Scorpion 3 can accommodate 3 people or 2 people with gear; inner tent dimensions are 87 inches long by 69 inches wide at the widest point by 43 inches tall. The inner tent is constructed with 190t nylon with polyester mesh. This spacious tent has a trail weight of 6.46 pounds and a pack weight of 7.5 pounds; DAC Fealtherlite NSL anodized aluminum poles are light and won’t take up all of your valuable pack space. Built for severe weather conditions in all four seasons, the Scorpion 3 features a 5000 millimeter Hydrostatic Head polyurethane laminate coated flysheet with taped seams. A No-See-Um mesh mosquito net will keep out the bugs in the summer months; a large front porch also offers convenient equipment storage. The Scorpion 3 boasts 3 ventilation channels, 1 entry, and 10 internal storage pockets to allow easy access to equipment at the end of a long day. This design incorporates hanging loops for lights. The Scorpion 3 comes with a Basic Repair Kit so that repairs can be made when you most need them; vinyl repair glue is not included.
