The STEELMAN 2402 5-Inch High Speed Disc Sander is an ideal tool for auto repair work, weld prep and cleanup, sharp edge grinding and removal, and more. With a maximum free run speed of 18,000 RPM, this pneumatic tool can use sanding discs 3 to 5.5-inches in diameter to help you get the job done right and done fast. The built-in regulator allows for consistent performance and helps even out pressure from pneumatic systems prone to sudden spikes. Energy efficient, the 0.5HP air powered motor consumes a mere 4 CFM of 90 PSI compressed air. Air inlet is threaded to accept conventional 1/4-inch NPT fittings and quick connects for use with a 3/8-inch air hose. Tool is lightweight for added user comfort, weighing only 2.5-pounds and measuring 7.5-inches in overall length.
