Every Machine-Ready Blank is deburred, cleaned, individually packaged for shipping, and arrives ready to load directly into your CNC machining center.
- •2024 aluminum provides excellent strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to fatigue due to its aluminum and copper composition. It is excellent for precision parts because of its machinability and grain structure. It has good weld properties, but less corrosion resistance than other alloys. 2024 has been solution heat treated, cold worked and naturally aged, and minimally stretched to reduce stresses in the material.
