Description

The Thomas 688CE44 is an oil-free, single-cylinder piston air compressor and vacuum pump with a WOB-L (wobble) piston design. It operates on 115V AC single-phase power at 60 Hz at a rated 1/3 hp output, in a tankless configuration. The oil-free design means the compression chamber runs without lubricant. It provides a free-air delivery ranging from 0.76 CFM at 100 psi up to 1.6 CFM at 0 psi, a maximum continuous pressure of 100 psi, and a maximum vacuum of 27.6 in Hg. It is rated at a maximum speed of 1,750 RPM, a full-load current of 3.6 A, and a measured sound level of 63 dBA (@ 60 psi). The operating temperature range is 50-104°F. Construction includes an aluminum cylinder, a shaded-pole motor (thermally protected, with a high-torque start winding), and corrosion-resistant sandwich valves in stainless steel.
